My paintings come largely from my imagination and my vision of Life. When I paint a scene I find nearly always that I want to include a figure. Somehow I feel that I am projecting myself into the picture, and I always hope that whoever takes that painting away will do the same thing.---There is something personal and subjective there and I want it to keep alive.
