Taking the studio route-----

It's amazing how the light here changes with the seasons in such
a short time. Just a few weeks ago at 5-30 in the morning
it was a' before dawn' sky that I saw from the terrace; this morning
the sky glows a rich orange/red, burnishing the sea with bronze.
    -----Beautiful!

As we walk along to the studio, the sun
has risen, and dances on the water.

Oh yes---there's Bugibba across the water, the local tourist
area, soon to be awake with shoppers and
holiday folk moving themselves into the
sunbathing scene.

We're into daylight now!Round the corner and up the hill,
see how the coast-line curves.
Across the water here is Xemxia, another harbour
for the boats. there were rumours once that there was
to be a marina here,---no sign yet.

Below  the shrubs is a tiny secluded bay,
a favourite for teaching the toddlers to swim, and close by
is the base for the sailing school for youngsters.

Last lap now! Up the hill a little further,
round the corner, and there's the
studio. not the big building that's the old palazzo!----and so to work!

  1. Beautiful walk and such a lovely cool time; that little beach and green area is a favourite place of mine too. Have to start getting up earlier!

  2. Kath sends thanks for picture; she knows just where she's going to put it where it will most brighten her room and she'll see it every time she walks in - a Sunshine Girl indeed!
