How I remember those early days of ' Beatles Magic'
as they rose to fame.It was during my student days in London,
a 'swinging city.'Weekend evenings were usually spent
gravitating to the colleges with the best bands.Then the rhythm, the beat,
the music took over!What a great time; there was an innocence,
a freshness, , a joy, a spontaneity----I could go on and on.
Maybe it's just that I'm growing older,
maybe it's just nostalgia,but I still think that
there was a feeling of care-free living,
an animation that has been lost
somewhere along the way.Discos today seem to me
to have lost the' oomph, 'that vital ingredient of simple happiness
born out of a real enjoyment of life and living.-Do you agree?
