At times the view from the terrace is just a bit overwhelming,
but more often, on a day like this the sense
of peace it brings is a great way to start the day-
somehow makes me more resilient to those
sresses!
I look out on a vast expanse,
blue descends into blue,
space, infinitely still.
Silence prevails,
soul-solace here,
comfort beyond words,
deep deep peace.

That beautiful French song 'La Mer'
brings me the same peaceful feeling.
In the film 'French Kiss' Kevin Kline stars with Meg Ryan
and his interpretation of the song is a gentle one.
As usual he shows his versatile talent! If you enjoy
light-hearted, happy ending films, -this is a good one.
