Yesterday was a perfect day for May Day. The sun was bright
in a clear blue sky,a gentle southerly wind, and the sea warm enough for
some adventurous swimmers.
There's a little sailing school nearby, and the youngsters who
follow the course are usually pretty adventurous too. On such a day
they usually venture quite far, guided ofcourse , and clearly
enjoying their experience.
It's unusual to see the boats lined up like this and no sailors.
Holidays ofcourse, and what would they be without a break for lunch,
especially when appetising smells are wafting across from
the little waterside cafe.
Oh well,-I'm sure they will soon be back at the helm,
well fortified by a huge plate of bacon, egg and Maltese bread!
Quote for today.
Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you
didn't do than the things you did do.So throw off the bowlines, sail away from safe harbour, catch the trade wind in your sails.
Explore, Dream, Discover.
